Ken is a commercial HR specialist with a wide experience of managing HR issues in both expanding and contracting Commercial situations.
His early career was spent with Sainsbury and Tesco where he became Retail Personnel and Training Manager. Later he was HR Director with Mills and Boon and then headed his own consultancy becoming a specialist in managing change carrying out major assignments with blue chip companies as well as smaller owner managed operations in the UK and overseas. He has been an advocate before the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal for over 30 years. More recently he has worked on secondment as HR Director to a number of Companies in Engineering, Transport and Service industries.
Ken’s specialisation is in the hands on management and advice of the people issues in TUPE transfers, harmonisation projects, takeovers and reorganisations, redundancy, industrial disputes and the implementation via the people of new commercial strategy, particularly in difficult times. He is also an accomplished executive Coach.

In his spare time Ken has a private counselling and coaching business specialising in improving sport skills and dealing with trauma particularly in the equestrian world where his family regularly compete in Dressage and Show Jumping..
